Just a brief note, since I am surrounded by family who deserve my attention and actually seem to want it... I am thankful for:

• Family and friends, those that surround me, those off celebrating with others, and those who I have known before they moved on;
• The freest, most stable, most prosperous nation in history, which I am lucky to call home;
• The Internet, which allows me to find any answer almost instantly, and contact people around the globe and around the corner, virtually for free, instantly;
• The peaceful transition of power to our next President, despite the involvement of my bretheren attorneys;
• and many other things which I will think of during the day.
