Mike and I are making the rounds of holiday parties, and I have to say I had the shock of my life on Saturday. The nice, clean cut, polite college kids of Sigma Phi Epsilon's DC-Alpha chapter (the GWU chapter for which Mike volunteers) were coming up to me all night saying "And you must be Mrs. Wasylik" and "so nice to meet you, Mrs. Wasylik" and all sorts of other similarly polite phrases that made me feel OLD. I know I've been Mrs. Wasylik for some seven months now, but this is the first time anyone ever really addressed me as such. I kept wanting to say "Hey wait, I'm one of you guys!" except my freshman year of college was ten years ago. *sigh*
