Generally, the quieter it is here, the busier our lives are. The past three months have been unbelievably busy. They have included, oh, in a nutshell -- several househunting and job interview trips to Tampa, buying a house in Florida, selling our house in Virginia, packing all of our earthly possessions, quitting our jobs, driving to Florida with some of our earthly possessions, going back to Virginia to close on the old house, taking the train to Florida, having visitors for a week helping with decorating and settling in, unpacking a little more, traveling to New York for Christmas, coming back to our new home and unpacking most of the rest of our earthly possessions, finding day care for Alex, starting new jobs.

Whew.

So forgive me if I haven't had much of a chance to post.

We are finally getting our heads above water, and I plan on filling in the holes in Alex's site and posting here more. And oh, hi to my new co-workers, who looked me up here before I started and complained about how stale this site had become.
