Fireworks!
Alex was too little to really be cognizant of his first exposure to Independence Day fireworks, but this year he was really into it. With every burst, he would reach his hands up into the air and squeal with delight. He also got his first taste of ice cream, and it was a big hit! He also had a great time playing with the orange inflatable noodles that had been given out as neck rests to facilitate firework viewing. For the little ones, they were put to the alternate purpose of bopping.
